2022 WWE Royal Rumble predictions, ticket, matches, start time, PPV preview, date, location

The Royal Rumble, one of WWE’s biggest and funniest events of the year, will return to St. Louis on Saturday night. Uploaded a ticket to The Dome at America’s Center in Louis, Missouri. The event is the official start of the WrestleMania season, built for the flagship promotional event on April 2nd and 3rd this year.
In addition to the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, WWE champion Brock Lesnar, universal champion Roman Reigns and women’s champion Becky Lynch Raw will be defending the title. Finally, The Miz and Maryse Edge and Beth Phoenix will reunite on a mixed label with four former champions.
With all that in mind, a lot could happen on Saturday night and almost everything with the big branches for WrestleMania.
Let’s see what our CBS Sports experts have in store for WWE Royal Rumble.
2022 WWE Royal Rumble Predictions
Edge and Beth Phoenix against Miz and Maryse
This contest is set to end on Saturday with Edge and Beth Phoenix raising their hands. It is a natural consequence of the rivalry between the two couples. Edge is clearly the W-side of the WWE, and Phoenix shouldn’t go back to putting Maryse, a part-time member, alone. Edge and Phoenix, hands raised, the result is likely. Choose: Edge and Beth Phoenix – Shakiel Mahjouri (also Brent Brookhouse)
Raw Women’s Championship – Becky Lynch (c) vs. Doudrop
It would be hard for Doudrop to win the title in this match in the usual situations, but it’s almost impossible to imagine when WrestleMania is approaching. Lynch WrestleManian will be in a prominent place and will be in that position as the Raw women’s champion, perhaps defending against the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble. Doudrop can raise his profile with a good performance and that should be the biggest goal here. Selection: Becky Lynch holds the title – Brookhouse (Mahjouri ere)
World Championship – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins
My overall thought process is WrestleManian vs. Lesnar. It’s about reaching Reigns without having the two titles tied for battle. So who loses the belt? Lesnar won the title after Reigns was diagnosed with COVID-19 as a result of his removal from Day 1. Meanwhile, Reigns has set a kingdom record as a champion. With that in mind, it makes sense to translate the story of Lesnar hunting Reigns and the universal title, which means that Rollins must take the loss here. Selection: Roman Reigns retains title. – Brookhouse
WWE was keen to get Seth Rollins to join WrestleMania with a world championship around his waist before the chaos of Day 1. Much has been done in the story about the inability of Reigns to conquer his former Shield friend in tournament matches. If Reigns enters the Royal Rumble and gets Brock Lesnar’s shot (we’ll get there in a second), he’ll have to leave the title to Rollins that night. Selection: Seth Rollins wins the title – Mahjouri
WWE Championship – Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
Reigns Vs. As stated in the Rollins announcement, WWE is asking Lesnar to return to the Reigns behind him so that Lesnar can remove his belt. Raw is in a much better place for WrestleMania with Lashley’s potential opponents than SmackDown Lesnar. Lashley has many ways to win Lesnar, including a completely clean victory. WWE has finally turned Lashley into a force and they can continue to build on that in Rumble. Selection: Bobby Lashley wins the title – Brookhouse
WWE likes to put Brock Lesnar UFC heavyweight juggernaut on the waist. It would be strange for the promotion to present one of its greatest stars with the WWE Championship, to be removed 28 days later. Also, Lesnar must be terrified for revenge against Reigns. Lesnar Vs. Lashley is a mouth-watering good for MMA and fighting goodness. It should be done to be competitive with Lashley Lesnar, but in the end, the result will be “and still is”. Selection: Brock Lesnar holds the title – Mahjouri
Women’s Royal Rumble Match
Honestly, there are more chances to win this year’s Rumble than Naomi. There are reports of the return of WrestleMania’s Ronda Rousey and people are convinced that he will return on Saturday night. WWE can also choose to correct Bianca Belair’s misconduct in SummerSlam, surpassing 29 other women. In the story, there is little better competitor than Naomi. Sonya Deville has hurt the authority figure every time, especially in the moments of victory over women’s champion Charlotte Flair SmackDown. What better way to navigate Deville’s betrayal than to win Rumble. Choose: to win Naomi – Mahjouri
Personally, I hope that WWE’s loading of the women’s buzz has been loading with participants who are not even active fighters hired by WWE to open their eyes to the promotion. While I appreciate Shak’s selection of Naomi and the idea of going to a WrestleMania venue and winning the title, it’s not like the “big swing” that WWE wants to take to the biggest show of the year. With that in mind, there are two strong options. First, Bianca Belair could have won a second Royal Rumble match and really built her legacy. Or, they can call Ronda Rouseyra. Spinning the rumors of Rousey’s return, I find it an easy game for Rousey to win the Rumble and go to a place in the major events of WrestleMania against the champion of one brand or another. Selection: Ronda Rousey to win – Brookhouse
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
As a final step in our three-step predictions, Lesnar, who lost his title against Lashley the night before – perhaps due to interference from The Usos – immediately blocks Reigns and must enter Rumblen. Lesnar then goes through the competition, winning everything and choosing Reigns as his opponent in WrestleMania. For an extra boost, the MVP and Lashley let Lesnar escape from his conqueror and a rematch can be stored in his back pocket somewhere on the road. Choose: Brock to win Lesnar – Brookhouse
To be clear, Roman Reigns shouldn’t have won the Royal Rumble. Rumor has it that Reigns was expected to leave Brock Lesnar on the 1st day of the Universal Championship and Seth Rollins was expected to catch the WWE Championship that evening. WWE can direct Reigns by losing to Rollins, perhaps at the hands of some of Lesnar’s jokes, and then join Rumblen for revenge against “The Beast Incarnate”. Choose: Roman Reigns to win – Mahjouri
