This chopped Italian street salad has a killer secret ingredient – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

[ad_1]

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Alison Hersel’s house at Plumcot Farm was the smell of freshly baked bread. I didn’t know anything about it, rocking the buckets of sour curd that was going to rock my world and use it as a crunch in my new favorite street salad. I know you don’t have to say croutons are your favorite salad, though come. These are crazy.

This chopped Italian street salad adds a special flare to a real classic salad. Street use adds extra nutrients, and in my opinion, is more filling. I love that dressing is so easy to make because all the ingredients are basic to the kitchen. Alison cooks “fresh ingredients of the highest quality lovingly crafted on the farm or with other local growers and artisans” and you can taste the difference in this salad.

This recipe was on the menu for the Italian summer dinner at Plumcot Farm hosted by Alison Hersel. Get other recipes and read the full story here!
