It’s great now time to take on a new TV. We’ve been testing the latest and greatest models throughout the year, but we’ve started to see the first discounts on our top 2021 models. Whether or not you’ve been watching college football on Saturdays, kicking off the new HBO season Inheritance, or playing your new one Nintendo Switch OLED On the big screen, here are some great discounts to enhance your viewing experience at home.

Medium level TVs
TCL 5 series
Photo: TCLIt’s a sweet spot for most TV shoppers, where you’ll find great technology and good interfaces at relatively low prices.
5-Series is the best TV Less than $ 500. You get a quantum dot screen, Android TV interface and Alexa compatibility. In addition, the built-in voice remote makes it easy to search for your favorite content. It often comes down to this price.
If you want something bigger than the above TCL, this Samsung model is a solid choice. I like that Alexa is included, you can set timers and ask the weather. (You can turn off Alexa if you don’t want to use it.)
Hisense may be an unknown brand, but it really makes wonderful TV shows. Take this U8G, for example. You get the color of the quantum dot, IMAX enhanced certification, and integrated Android TV. Hisense’s ULED backlight technology is also excellent, providing great brightness even in well-lit rooms.
Sony’s 48-inch OLED offers tremendous photo quality, and OLED is very popular with black inks. The only downside to this is that it lacks the ability to play 4K video 120 Hz, which means you probably don’t want to pair it with Sony’s Playstation 5 if you’re looking for the smoothest possible gameplay.
Large Screens

Photo: SamsungLooking for a big screen to watch your favorite band or TV show? These two are good options.
This Samsung’s 75-inch internal quantum dot technology makes it bright and vibrant, perfect for larger living rooms with windows. I also like the center column, which allows the giant TV to fit into standard-sized TV consoles.
Sony is another great TV manufacturer, and it comes with this Android TV integrated, and easier to find Alexa compatibility. It also has Sony’s awesome MotionFlow XR technology, which helps you illuminate objects like players and balls when watching sports and when all the actions on the screen are played. It is also an 85-inch model $ 2,000 on sale ($ 500 discount).
Higher display

This is Samsung’s most iconic 4K, and it’s an incredibly good-looking TV (8/10, WIRED Recommends). The mini LED backlight combines with the company’s Neo QLED quantum dot technology to make it the best display we’ve seen in light rooms (and one of the best we’ve seen in the dark).
If you have a dark room to watch (or any room, really), C1 is the prettiest TV I’ve seen this year (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It’s also amazing for gamers, with HDMI 2.1 inputs and a 120 Hz refresh rate which gives a very smooth movement on the screen.
