Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja said on Wednesday that the incident of leg walker Yasir Shah Test had brought a bad name to Pakistan Cricket.

“The pure thing is that Yasir is a player on the circuit and while we train and educate these players they are in ambassador positions and they should know with whom and where to socialize,” Ramiz said at a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday.

The FIR says the couple laughed when they approached Yasir for help, laughed at the whole incident, posed life-threatening threats to them and their nephew, and said he would use his influence to lead them to legal fights.
Yasir and his friend Farhan have gone underground and police are still investigating the case.
“I don’t know what is true in this case, but it is true that such titles are not good for Pakistani cricket and especially at a time when there is good feeling now from Pakistani cricket,” the PCB president said. .
He told all the hired players, including Yasir, that they were regularly reminded of their responsibilities as ambassadors and how they should behave publicly.

Yasir has played 46 tests and 25 ODIs for Pakistan, but missed his last lap in Bangladesh due to a finger injury.
Ramiz said he had raised player fees shortly after taking office as president in September because he wanted all players to be financially secure in society and also to end this discussion with departmental / organizational cricket and provincial teams.
“I want these players to win well, but they also have responsibilities for Pakistani cricket and sports.”
