Japan’s unemployment rate rose to 2.8% in November, according to Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s unemployment rate rose to 2.8% in November, and job availability was in line with the previous month, government figures showed on Tuesday.

Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared to 2.7% in October and an average forecast of 2.7% in a survey of Reuters economists.

According to data from the Ministry of Labor, the ratio between employment and applicants was 1.15 in November compared to the previous month and 1.16, which is lower than expected by the Reuters survey.
