Stop me if you’ve heard me before. When friends come for wine and two bottles come, there is a collective longing for something sweet. Only problem? No one brought dessert and no one raised their hand to make the trip to the store. Or maybe you’ve had a hard day at work and can use it a relaxing night. The last thing you want to do is drag the clothes to the store so you end up eating popcorn. These are the moments when it is essential to have a kitchen equipped with storage facilities.

You too can save the day with a well-stocked pantry! When you get a list of stapled pantries, you are preparing yourself spontaneity in the kitchen without having to constantly run to the grocery store. Yes, it can be difficult or confusing to identify how basic they will be. But based on our list of recipes we come back again and again, we’ve created a list of key ingredients that will get you ready for your out-of-wrist needs. Make sure you have a bookmark for the next time you arrive at the store.

You want to make sure you have a few basic things about the pantry at hand so you can make any dish you want without having to run out at the last minute. Oils, vinegar, spices, dried ingredients, canned beans and so on. We’ve covered you with a full range of food staples that will be available to you again and again.

Herbs and spices

Salt. Salt is a key ingredient in all recipes: it improves flavor, extracts moisture from vegetables, strengthens gluten in flour, and much more. Needless to say, it’s pretty amazing chocolate chip cookie.

Red pepper flakes.

Black pepper.

Oil, vinegar and sauces

Olive oil. In all cooking and baking, you need a type of fat. What I like most about cooking is usually extra virgin olive oil, perfect for sautéing, sprinkling avocado toast, and everything in between.

Vinegar. Adding acid to a meal will immediately brighten up your food and take it to the next level, of course, homemade salad is the basis of all dressings (one part acid is 2 parts fat / oil is a trick!) And can turn milk into buttermilk — hello, homemade biscuits!

Honey. Or if you want to make the sweetener you prefer (sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup, etc.) sweets anywhere, you should have a sweetener.

Sriracha. Add a spicy sauce and a little of this spicy to any rice bowl, egg dish or whatever you like and it adds instant flavor, heat and that something which immediately makes the taste of a dish more complex.

In the fridge

Butter. My favorite fat for baking is organic butter, specifically Vital Farms grazed unsalted butter, but if you’re vegan or dairy-free, I’d recommend basic cooking oil or coconut oil. Not everyone puts butter in the fridge, but whatever it is, we need our pantry.

Eggs. Eggs are very versatile, and I really can’t imagine life without them. You can fry them to get the BELT, add them to the fried rice, bake them breakfast egg bites, make lemon pulp, fill the gap. Since I like to eat eggs often, I make sure I get organic eggs without cages.

Fresh parmesan. Yummm … that’s all. Put what you want or eat it alone and you will be happy.

Goods

Flour for all uses. It is the basis of the easiest to whiten flour desserts and things for breakfast are so pretty necessary! If you are gluten free, I would recommend it Bob’s Red Mill 1 and 1 gluten-free oven flour and olo irina (works fine crepe and waffles!).

Dried pasta and grains. Dried pasta or grains are very important because they enhance any meal you are making. I can get creative with pasta, but you are gluten free or not dear pasta, quietly replace it with something like rice or couscous.

Canned food

Canned whole tomatoes. A basic pasta and tomato sauce meal can make anyone happy, so I like to have tomato sauce available at any time, it’s as easy as that! Essential knowledge is essential.

Beans and Chickpeas.

Fruits and Vegetables

Lemons.

Onions and garlic. Having either or both of these items will help create a depth of flavor when you’re doing it. Also, most tasty recipes require at least one of them.

Apples. It always changes to have a little bit of fruit at hand. You can chop the apples for a salad, or enjoy the butter and cinnamon sauce.

Frozen berries. Frozen berries can be easily added muffins or add it to the wave or turn it into a compote that you can put on top of the pancakes.

Brussels sprouts or Red Cabbage. Vegetables that will survive without spoiling are the keys to my home. Brussels sprouts are my favorite: I peel them and sauté them with lemon juice and salt and they can go with protein for dinner right away. Red cabbage it’s also a great option: chop it up and add it to the salad, on top of the tacos, or with fried rice.
