Adam Scherr, former WWE’s Braun Strowman, calls it “the biggest wrestling event in the Middle East.”

Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman as part of the WWE, travels to Dubai with his band Free the Narrative EC3.

Scherr and EC3 will compete as label teams in Dubai on March 7th. Event, organizer Fighting United Nations United Arab Emirates It is being described as “the biggest fighting event in the Middle East.” The company, as well as the management of Scherr and EC3, have only confirmed the news to CBS Sports.

Scherr made his first post-WWE appearance in front of EC3 at the latter’s Free The Narrative II event. “The Titan” Scherr joined EC3 on Dec. 11 in the Final Battle, the last event of the Ring of Honor before the company’s break.

Scherr was released by WWE on June 2, 2021. His last match with the company was a triple threat from the WWE Backlash. Scherr had a successful six-year list with the WWE. He debuted as part of The Wyatt Family and then won the WWE Universal and Continental Championships, and two races with Raw team titles. Other achievements include winning the Grand Royal Rumble, the 2018 Money in the Bank Ladder Match and the 2019 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

EC3 returned to the WWE in 2018 using a gimmick that brought him great success as part of Impact Wrestling. He took the 24/7 tournament four times before it was released in April 2020 as part of WWE’s budget cuts. He then returned to Impact before finding a home in ROH and building his Free The Narrative events and brand.
