Asghar Afghan took them all by surprise when he retired from international cricket at the 2021 T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi three months ago. But he has already done enough to raise the level of cricket in Afghanistan and pro-life.

“Our goal was to show the young people of our town how to play cricket and make money. We have shown our talent to the world. ”
His talent was very visible on the third day when the Lions won against India Maharajas. He made 28 balls 69 and then took two wickets.

Looking ahead to this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia, he said India and Pakistan can do well. “India is doing well overall in Australia and Pakistan has excellent balls,” he said. “It’s definitely worth watching the games between these teams.”
