At Home on Clove Brook Farm with Christopher Spitzmiller – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

During the week, an elegant potter and designer Christopher Spitzmiller He is busy creating lamps, cutlery and excellent accessories found in the most stylish design shops and homes across the country, including the White House. But on weekends he finds himself at Clove Brook Farm, his perfect photo retreat in Dutchess County (NY). Five years ago, we filmed it A section with Chris he visited there again and recently to see numerous updates to the property. Please join me and Susanna on a magical day at Clove Brook Farm, where Chris and Anthony Bellomo welcomed us to a growing domain!

Here Chris actively cares for his gardens, actively expanding groups of animals and enthusiastically entertains them: a nice meal in our garden, downstairs.

Everything seems effortless, but for the last 15 years the project has been tackled one after the other from decoration to renovation and remodeling, including new structures like a striking pool and a swimming pool underneath.

The gardens have expanded

in the meantime, last spring partner Anthony designed and installed the new orchard.

And along the way, Chris has had many of his advisors in mind, from the legendary decorators Albert Hadley, Mario Buatta and Bunny Williams to Martha Stewart, whose ideas he has translated back into his versions.

And now in his new book, One year at Clove Brook Farm, Chris hopes to encourage others to do the same. As Chris admits in his popular Instagram feed, it’s #progresseveryday at Clove Brook Farm. A tireless student, Chris is constantly reading, researching and expanding his knowledge and learning to live the life he has always wanted.

Divided into four seasons, the book offers tips, information and inspiration from cooking and baking (below are Chris’s delicious chocolate chip cookies)
