Pakistani captain Babar Azam was named the ICC ODI player of the year on Monday.
Babar, a top-tier batsman, scored 405 games in six games averaging 67.50 in 2021. The 27-year-old was the second highest scorer with 228 runs and was the player of the match in both. Pakistan’s 2-1 win over South Africa in the series.
