Apple will launch a low-cost 5G iPhone in March

(Reuters) – Apple Inc. (NASDAQ 🙂 is aiming for a date on or about March 8 to announce a low-cost 5G iPhone and an updated iPad, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people with knowledge of the subject.
According to the report, the new iPhone will be the first update of the iPhone SE model in two years and will feature 5G network capabilities, an improved camera and a faster processor.
Apple announced in October two new MacBook Pro models that run on more powerful home chips.
With more than a month to go before the launch is expected, Apple’s plans may change due to production delays or other changes, the report added.
The company did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
