Danushka has retired from the Gunathilaka test cricket

Sri Lanka’s first aggressive batsman, Danushka Gunathilaka, has decided to retire from Test cricket at the age of 30 to focus on white ball formats, the country’s apex cricket organization said on Saturday.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said the bat “will now focus on short formats”.

Gunathilaka, Mendis and Dickwella have been banned from conducting a one-year ban on international search for a biosecurity violation on a Sri Lankan tour of England last year.

The ban also included a six-month suspension of the home cricket and a $ 50,000 fine.

Gunathilaka often had problems with SLC due to disciplinary issues. Since making his international debut in late 2015, Gunathilaka has made three separate interruptions, the last for violating bio-bubble protocols.
