The Singapore-based teleosity startup Doctor Anywhere (DA) today unveiled its new office space today (January 19th) and plans to increase its staff by 50 per cent.
The new office covers the entire penthouse unit on the 40th floor of the mTower, which is nearly 15,000 square feet.
“As we continue to grow, DA will add more than 200 roles by the end of 2022, doubling our current number of employees in Singapore. This new space will continue to foster our spirit of collaboration, as we provide ongoing healthcare to users anytime, anywhere,” he said. General Manager of Wai Mun Lim Doctor Anywhere.
This expansion comes after launch $ 88 million last August in its C-Series round, and announced plans to expand to Southeast Asia.
The company has more than 2.5 million customers across the region and more recently He received Dr. Raksa from Thailand last November.
The new office has hybrid work arrangements to facilitate employee well-being
According to Doctor Anywhere, the office will allow its employees to maintain a hybrid work schedule with both online and physical.
The new headquarters will house 70 per cent of the company’s employees in Singapore. In terms of context, it currently has around 200 employees in Singapore.
Some features of the office include six co-op rooms, a boardroom and an outdoor roof terrace.
Its central pantry will allow employees to grab a snack, encouraging staff to interact and share ideas.
In addition, the Doctor Anywhere Training Academy, which organizes training sessions for first-line medical teams, will now operate from the new training room, allowing first-line colleagues to make connections with the HQ team.
The space will also facilitate a variety of learning and development opportunities in the classroom as staff return to work.
Doctor Anywhere also shared that its new space also has open seating, allowing staff to “engage in one-on-one conversations, fostering collaboration and inspiration between teams”.
Employees will be able to relax on the company’s picturesque rooftop terrace, which overlooks the 153-square-meter terrace overlooking the sea. In addition to yoga sessions, the company has many other features for the well-being of its employees, including a relaxation area with a massage chair, a claw machine and a table football.

The new office will also facilitate the deployment of tele-supervised Antigen Rapid Testing (ART), a new service under a pilot program of the Ministry of Health.
With the service, users can complete Covid-19 ART from home, under the watchful eye of prepared pencil monitors, through a video call from the Doctor Anywhere app. Users will receive their ART results within four hours, which will be valid for pre-event and pre-departure tests and for people returning on VTL flights.
