Sustainability as a focus

one of the previous tower structures renovated by edotco is a bamboo telecommunication tower. Developed in collaboration With Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, bamboo is used as a substitute for traditional steel structures.

With UKM’s academic partner, edotco will conduct mentoring sessions to train and mentor participants throughout the competition to ensure that the results match the expectations of the trial.

More than 100 submissions are expected from the entire SEA, and the steps to take part in the competition are as follows:

• Form Groups 2 and 4 composed of participants at least one Civil Engineering student.
• Once registered, design a tower and foundation based on the criteria of next-generation telecommunications infrastructure. Technical Framework. Please note that submissions must be in English.
• The teams behind the Top 5 works will be presented to a panel of judges, edotco, industry experts and UKM academics, in the virtual Grand Final (March 2022)
• The 3 winners with innovative ideas will win a total of $ 5,000 in cash prizes.
