Two other members of the BTS K-pop group have tested positive for COVID-19 by Reuters

SEOUL (Reuters) – Two other members of the BTS K-pop group on Saturday tested positive for COVID-19 since their first concert in the United States during the group’s pandemic on their return to South Korea, according to their management company Big Hit Music.

RM rapper, 27, and singer Jin, 29, were diagnosed with COVID-19 one day after being tested positive by Suga, a seven-member songwriter and rapper.

The three completed their second dose of the coronavirus vaccine in August, the company said.

Since debuting in 2013, BTS has led the world’s crazy K-Pop craze with engaging and cheerful music and dance, as well as lyrics and social campaigns aimed at empowering young people.

Concerts in the United States were the first BTS concerts in 2019 since they toured the country, Asia, Europe, and North America.

RM, whose real name is Kim Nam-joon, and Jin, whose real name is Kim Seok-jin, initially had a negative return to South Korea earlier this month.

RM, which was positive when it was preparing to quit the mandatory quarantine, shows no symptoms, Big Hit Music said.

Jin gave a negative second time when he quit quarantine, but after being diagnosed with symptoms later, he said the company was mild.

Jin or RM had no contact with other team members after returning to South Korea, the company said.
