It is well known to modern minimalists looking for inspiration in home design Instagram By Sarah Sherman Samuel. The page of the designer and influencer is full of striking scenes that stand out in the sea of homogeneous home decor on the Internet. Samuel’s style may seem simple at first, but the careful layer of colors and patterns creates something truly unique. And while the designer usually retains the soothing and natural nuances, Samuel has just unveiled a boldly renovated toilet in his Michigan home that takes his appearance effortlessly to the level of Paris.
The goal: a guest bathroom that can transport visitors to a boutique hotel, a plan that allows Samuel to have a little fun. We are talking about the striking space of the model box equipment He finished with champagne bronze (hot, but not very blingy). It is an undeniable axis, however Allied Maker shelf too big surrounded by marble — not even independent support could compete.
The project also offered Samuel a chance to eventually join its line door and drawer fronts with Semihandmade. They make custom half-doors for IKEA cabinets and are common denominators on Pinterest for your favorite kitchen inspiration (the company has worked on past projects with Karlie Kloss, Emily Henderson and Athenian cauldron, and Justina Blakeney).
We talked to Samuel about the design process, the inspiration behind his bold choice, and tips for innovative bathrooms that want to make their space interesting but not overpowering.

Allied Maker is a huge shelf. Do you have any favorite features about the space?
The wood touch of the chair is very nice, and the marble accent around the shelf makes this axis my favorite feature.

I love how bold the color is. For those who want to try something beyond neutral, would you recommend designing a guest bath?
I wanted to highlight the color of Desert Gray my Semihandmade collection (It was the first time I used my own Quarterline collection), and I matched the color to the paint and used it on the ceiling, door, and trim to be very bold. Being a guest room is not the room you use every day, so you will go a little bolder and have more fun with the design.
