Shakib Al Hasan is fit and will return to the Bangladeshi national team next week for the second round against Pakistan, Dhakan, his team said on Tuesday.
A shipping injury against the West Indies last month ended Shakib’s early time in the 2021 T20 World Cup and he missed a three-match series of short matches in November against Pakistan.
He joined the first test team, which ended in an eight-cap victory for Pakistan on Tuesday, but was later ruled out.

Without a key Shakib, Taijul Islam fought a lone and losing fight in Bangladesh despite a 7-116 win to help the host gain a first-round advantage of 44.
Bangladesh also included ball player Taskin Ahmed, who missed the first test due to a finger injury. Batsman Mohammad Naim, who has played in 32 T20Is and two one-day internationals, received his first test call.
The second test will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka from December 4 to 8.
