Former Australian attacker Michael Slater was charged with violating a restraining order on Wednesday, two months after he was taken into police custody on charges of domestic violence, local media reported.
Police in New South Wales said in a statement that a man had been arrested around 7:45 a.m. local time after allegedly breaking a restraining order.
The 51-year-old man was taken to the Manly police station and denied bail by police after being charged.

The ABCs the website reported that Slater Manly appeared in local court via video links when details of the alleged violation were revealed.
According to the report, the magistrate imposed strict conditions on Slaterri, including house arrest.
Slater was arrested and charged with a similar offense in October, and was treated for “health and mental health problems” after the incident.
In May, Scott Morrison sparked a debate on social media after an outrageous crackdown on Australian Prime Minister.

Slater said Morrison had “blood (in his) hands” after the government temporarily banned Australians from returning home from India when the Asian nation confronted a COVID-19 outbreak.
The former batsman played 74 tests before becoming a cricket commentator in 1993-2001 and One-Day Internationals 42, but was removed from the Seven Network team earlier this year after spending three years with the Australian chain.
