Former international referee Sunit Kumar Ghosh has died

Former international referee Sunit Kumar Ghosh died at a local hospital on Sunday, according to a source from the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB). He was 87 years old and had two children left.

Ghosh competed in two test matches, seven in one day international (ODI) and one in women’s ODI. He served as a referee in 12 first division matches and as a referee in four matches.

In late 1988, he was in Test matches in India against Bangalore and Hyderabad in New Zealand. He worked in ODI from 1987 to 1989.
