Annie Farmer told a U.S. federal court in Manhattan that she had accepted an invitation to the Epstein ranch in New Mexico because she thought the couple would help her pay for college.

Farmer, now 42, took the position using his true identity: Maxwell’s trial was similar to what he testified by nicknames or surnames with similar stories, with the exception of three other charges, only to protect their privacy.

Farmer’s testimony said the prosecution said it could drop its case by the end of the week.

The judge suggested that the arguments at the end of the trial, which was initially thought to be six weeks long, could take place as early as December 20 if the defense’s presentation is only a day or two away next week.

While on the ranch, Farmer agreed to receive a massage from Maxwell. Farmer said Maxwell touched her breasts during the massage.

The door was open, and although he had not seen Epstein during the meeting, he said he thought he was near. “I just had this feeling that he could see me,” Farmer said. “I wanted so much to get up from the table and do this massage.”

Later, Farmer said he was in bed when Epstein opened the door to the room and jokingly told him he wanted to “hug” her. Then he went to bed and “squeezed his body into me.”

“I felt frozen,” he said.

He said he had to use the toilet and described it as an “excuse” to stay away from Epstein.

U.S. District Court Judge Alison Nathan ordered jurors to say that Farmer’s physical relationship with Epstein was not “illegal sexual activity” under New Mexico law.
