“I’m not a woman who sweats delicate drops of dew. I’m a heavy sweater and I have yellow stains on my armpits to prove it. I wanted to switch to a natural deo because I heard that the lack of aluminum eliminated all the staining problem. Then this wonderful little tube of magnesium-and-baking-soda deo came to my doorstep and everything changed. In addition to controlling my sweat, it smells amazing and, as I expected, not even yellow. I’ve been wearing light-colored shirts ever since. ” Megan McIntyre, a beauty writer

This is the only natural deodorant that really works (and I’ve tried almost all of them) because I don’t sweat under my arm when I use them (and so I don’t even smell them). And don’t just take my word for it, read Third Rose’s 93 comments (my favorite scent) because they also say the same thing! The other bonus is that after sweating in training it doesn’t throw me off my arm (yes, many other brands have done that and even soiled my clothes!), It doesn’t burn my skin and it doesn’t even smell overwhelming.

My husband and teenage son are also huge fans and that says something! My favorite scent is the third rose with rose, Italian mandarin, violet and cedar root, but my husband prefers Cedar Flora flavored with cedar, white musk, jasmine and guava wood. It’s certainly priceless, but it lasts a long time and if it works, it’s worth it. IMO is also one of the prettiest on the market. – Sacha Strebe, deputy editor, and Caitlin Clark, assistant second editor

I have very sensitive skin and when I often shave my arms in the summer, other natural deodorants have driven me to breakouts and rashes. Eep!
