GSK elects former chief of staff Lewis Tesco to head consumer health

(Reuters) – GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE 🙂 Plc has appointed former CEO Dave Lewis Tesco (OTC 🙂 Plc to head GSK’s Consumer Health Unit, which is operating in a stand-alone business, Sky News reported on Sunday as he did.

Confirmation of his appointment could come as soon as Monday, the announcer said.

GSK did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

The £ 40bn ($ 53bn) spin-off will go into effect next year.
