India to launch 2022 ICC U-19 Men’s Cricket WC campaign against South Africa on January 15

India is positioned in Group B along with debutant Uganda, South Africa and Ireland for the ICC World Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup to be held in the West Indies from 14 January to 5 February next year.
A total of 16 teams will travel to the Caribbean to compete in 48 matches.
Bangladesh, England, Canada and the United Arab Emirates make up Group A, and Group C makes up Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea.

Group D includes West India, Australia and Sri Lanka. Scotland have made it to Group D in the starting line-up of the tournament due to the large compulsory quarantine restrictions for minors on their return home after retiring from New Zealand.
The four host countries have been confirmed to be Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago, with matches scheduled for 10 sites.
Thanks to the format, the best two of the four teams will advance to the SuperLiga, while the rest of the teams will be promoted for 23 days.
The semi-finals will be played on February 1 at both venues; Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground and Coolidge Cricket Ground on 2 February. The February 5 Final will also be held at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground.
