Boon will stay in Melbourne, where he will complete his 10-day quarantine, and is expected to be available for the fifth test between Hobarten, Australia and England, which starts on 14 January.

Among the growing number of infections in Australia, the Big Bash meeting between the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars on Thursday has been postponed after a positive test by a member of the Stars support staff.
