If you have twin engines (239 kW, 325 hp), cut this off in 5.2 seconds. On a road, however, you can’t really notice the difference between the two models, only when you put your foot hard. Yes, the car is fast, but this is not a performance car that will give you almost tremendous acceleration. To do this you will have to wait until the GT model arrives at the end of 2022 with a time of 430 kW (580 hp) and 3.5 seconds at 0-62 mph.
This upcoming GT model could be if you are attracted to the performance promises of Kia’s marketing campaigns. The little criticism I have of the EV6 is that although it may be lighter than the Ioniq 5, it doesn’t feel like a sports car and is therefore stuck between campsites. In fact, flip Sport mode and the chassis can barely cope with the increase in speed. I think I prefer the honesty of the Ioniq 5 in this regard. I also prefer the retro style of the Ioniq 5 to the more conventional look of the EV6. But the rear of the car is particularly successful as its wide lines travel across the width of the vehicle.
