KL Rahul: India needs to take stock after losing the series in South Africa

Indian captain KL Rahul said there had to be “tough conversations” for his team after a 3-0 defeat in a one-day series against a South African team with little experience.
India were expected to take the series and all three games were played on the sidelines, but could not cross the line. Rohit Sharma was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
“Our shot selection has been poor at times and we haven’t hit the right areas with enough consistency with the ball,” Rahul said in his post-match presentation after losing four runs in Sunday’s third game in Newlands.
LOTUTA – The series ’defeat against SA is clear to India, says Rahul Dravid
“That’s why we ended up losing the series. We need to try to understand how we can improve as a team. ”
India looked like four in some of the series, although that could have had three games played with stifling heat. Rahul doesn’t think players can be questioned for their effort. “I can’t blame the boys for their passion and effort. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.
He believes that the important thing now is to round up the team and take stock of the loss of the series, and to make changes in the places that seem necessary. “It simply came to our notice then. So we have to go back (home), have some tough conversations and look in the mirror to see where we can get better. ”
