Dr Delzell of Advanced MMC, Inc. receives the Certificate of Merit Award at the 2022 RSNA Annual Meeting

Dr. Patricia Delzell of Advanced Musculoskeletal Medicine Consultants (AMMC) presented her exhibit highlighting treatment for musculoskeletal pain relief. Her exhibit was titled “Pain in the Calf! —Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Calf Pain.” Recognizing the importance of this exhibit, the Radiological Society of North America presented her with a Certificate of Merit at the Education Exhibit at the 108th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting.

The president of Advanced Musculoskeletal Medicine Consultants, Dr. Patricia Delzell, is a well-known authority on musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. She has extensively served patients in both private practice and academic medicine. Being an active serving part of the healthcare-providing community, she understands the importance of active research and educational exhibits. Her “Pain in the Calf!—Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Calf Pain” exhibit at the 108th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting was aimed at empowering the patients by educating physcians to understand their impairments more clearly and what can be done to address them.

The exhibit was recognized as one the highlights of the 2022 RSNA Annual Meeting, and out of the 1454 education exhibits showcased, it received recognition by winning the Certificate of Merit along with 206 other impressive exhibits. The Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee chose winners. The exhibit was given the honor because it highlighted the advantages of using musculoskeletal ultrasound as a technology to treat calf pain in a manner that is quicker, safer, and much less invasive.
