From December 17 to 18, heavy uninterrupted rains were seen in parts of Malaysia by experts who believe that 29W is a Tropical Depression. It is unlike the usual monsoon at the end of the year, as the latter case is a weaker typhoon like a tropical cyclone.
This has caused devastating floods in Selangor, KL, Pahang, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Perak and Melaka.
At least they have been 4 dead have been confirmed, 3 including Shah Alam and the other Kuantan. In addition, there were 10 people in Pahang reported missing.
To do this, we have compiled a non-detailed list of organizations that you can donate or lend a hand to if you have the resources. To learn more about each of them, you can click on their names in the headers.
Goal: The Malaysian Red Moon Association is raising funds to help those affected by floods in and around Selangor, including those in Klang, Shah Alam, Hulu Langat.
Organizers: Malaysian Red Moon Association it is a non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian action and services.

Goal: To help with the floods in Shah Alam and Klang, Mahasiswa Keadilan is seeking donations from Malaysia.
Shah Alam, Klang and Seremban are also looking for water jets to borrow for post-flood clean-ups.
Organizers: Malaysian Justice Student it aims to actively and maturely involve students in discussing students ’national issues.

Goal: The Malaysian Aid Agency (MRA) is calling on Malaysians to donate money and provide assistance to those affected by the floods.
Organizers: The MRA It is a Malaysian humanitarian organization whose main objective is to help those affected by natural disasters or armed conflicts, both local and foreign.

Goal: Hope Branch is seeking funding to collect dental hygiene kits, face masks, disinfectants, clean water, dry food, blankets and diapers for Hulu Langat and Shah Alam.
Organizers: The Branch of Hope Malaysian comedian Harith Iskander and Dr. Jezamine Lim created COVID-19 as an initiative to raise funds for those affected by the pandemic. They are working with KitaJagaKita to provide quick support.

Goal: The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) is looking for volunteers to help with the post-flood clean-up, as well as to help distribute food and aid to the victims in Selangor and KL.
In the coming days, 10,000 families from the floods will be able to collect at least 10,000 donations to help the families recover from the floods.
Organizers: YOUNG Syed Saddiq is a multi-racial and pro-youth Malaysian political party formed by Syed Abdul Rahman in September 2020.

Goal: Budi Care is looking for donations, basic necessities and volunteers to help the victims of the floods in Selangor.
Organizers: Budi Care is behind it Selangor Muslim Students Association (PEPIAS), a platform that produces Muslim students in Selangor state.

Goal: Previously, it was looking for help with basic necessities like milk, baby diapers, towels, pillows, blankets, hygiene items, now Happy Bank is looking for public donations to expand support to provide more basic needs to flood victims.
Organizers: Happy Bank It is a non-profit volunteer organization, driven by young people of all backgrounds, with the aim of supporting and assisting the poor and socially excluded communities in Malaysia.

Goal: Impactive Malaysia and its partners aim to raise RM25,000 in donations for food, milk, mimes, pads, blankets, etc. to provide urgent support for basic needs.
They are also looking for volunteers (especially those with 4-wheel drive or boats) to send help to flood victims in the Hulu Langat and Shah Alam areas of the temporary work placement centers.
Organizers: Impact of Malaysia It is an agency under the Ministry of Youth and Sport that promotes youth-driven social impact initiatives through communities, NGOs, civil society organizations, philanthropic organizations, corporations and the like.

Goal: IMARET has launched an emergency fundraiser to help provide rescue kits and mobilize volunteers to distribute flooding to those affected. They are also looking for volunteers (doctors and non-doctors) to distribute and care for the victims in Klang Valley, Pahang, Kelantan and other flood-affected areas.
Organizers: IMARET It is promoted by the Malaysian Islamic Medical Association (IMAM), providing humanitarian assistance to disasters and outreach programs in marginalized communities.

Goal: Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia aims to raise a total of RM250,000 for the provision and distribution of emergency aid such as hygiene kits, food, clothing and blankets, furniture and appliances, as well as medical supplies.
Organizers: Founded in September 2001, GPM Malaysia has been actively involved in providing assistance to victims of war and natural disasters and raising funds such as floods, earthquakes, famines and tsunamis.

Goal: MERCY Malaysia is raising funds to address the needs of victims, including medical care, and to provide hygiene supplies, food assistance and other first aid items.

Goal: Kembara Kitchen appeals to the public to make bedding (mattresses, pillows, etc.) and supplies of raw materials (along with food containers, rice, tomatoes and chilli sauce) to help prepare hot meals for flood victims in the Klang Valley. Donations are also accepted.

It offers a box worth RM120 with rice, coconut milk, soy sauce, chilli sauce, sugar, sardines, milk, dried peppers, millet, wheat flour, salt and eggs.
Organizers: WOMEN: Girls It is a non-profit organization that empowers women to become role models and empower young girls to achieve their potential. Groove Grocer is a community-driven food distribution service in Malaysia.
