Founded by Cortney Fletcher, eCom Babes is an online educational resource for female entrepreneurs. The online six-week course provides training materials to walk participants through the process of starting their own eCommerce business and providing access to a community of fellow entrepreneurs on the same journey. Two years after joining this community and learning the eCom Babes’ principles, mother-daughter duo Michelle and Sydney are earning six figures each month and realizing their dreams of financial freedom.
Introduced to the idea of entrepreneurship by her friends in college, Fletcher instantly knew that path was for her. Through her own initial failures, she learned the challenges and obstacles that keep many from being successful in eCommerce. By overcoming her own obstacles, she learned how to navigate eCommerce and reduce the risks associated with starting an online boutique. The strategies she learned through starting her own business would later be incorporated into the eCom Babes course and taught to thousands of women.
Many who start online stores fail quickly. Fletcher believes this may stem in part from a poor mindset. “Many eCom Babes I talk to have limiting beliefs or self-doubt that sabotage their efforts,” said Fletcher. “Being successful takes an unshakeable belief in yourself – that you will make it. You may not be sure how or when it will happen, but you are sure that you can make it happen. This ‘I’m going to win’ mindset is so important that it is one of the first things we cover in the eCom Babes program.”
