By looking at the data above, the mall operator can easily identify when it’s the busiest, how customers are walking, and what attracts attention.

Build on more vision-based solutions

In addition to tracking customers, Tapway can also provide AI-focused solutions for manufacturers to identify problem areas or catch bugs in their manufacturing process. Compared to IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, VisionTrack a faulty product can be detected and easily crawled by a robot selection of defective product from the manufacturing line.

PLUS Malaysia, one of Malaysia’s largest highway operators is also one of Tapway’s customers, and they use Tapway’s VehicleTrack solution on their highways. But unlike PeopleTrack, VehicleTrack specifically trains the AI ​​system to detect vehicles.

And the VehicleTrack system can easily and quickly detect the vehicle’s license plate, vehicle type as well as what brand it is. In this way, if the user commits a potential fraud by paying with a different card that he used when entering the highway, the operator has the option to use this information to investigate the case.

According to Tapway, the VehicleTrack solution was able to identify vehicles and capture license plate numbers > 99.4% the accuracy of the character also in all external conditions. Needless to say, this solution can help toll operators automate toll payment by classifying vehicles and reduce the need for manpower to do repetitive work. Thus, it serves as a basis for the implementation of the Single Lane Free Flow (SLFF) system in the future.
