New Zealand to train in Kolkata before the Kanpur Test

New Zealand have chosen Kolkata as their training ground to prepare for a two-match series against India to prepare for the start of a new cycle for the World Test Championship (WTC).
The team, led by Kane Williamson, will compete on the second campus of Jadavpur University in Saltlake before heading to Campur for the first test scheduled to start on November 25th.
“The test team would be working on the second campus of Jadavpur University,” said Avish, president of the Dalmiya Bengal Cricket Association (CAB).
Mumbai will take the second and final test from December 3rd.
A two-member Kiwi Recce team visited Eden Gardens on November 21 to host the third and final Twenty20.

“The rescue team appeared pleased to see the local facility and the rules for the organization of bio bubbles,” Avishek said.
“We understand the importance of player safety. We have experience in organizing matches in the bio-bubble and we will make sure everything is fine,” said CAB secretary Snehashis Ganguly.
The Kiwi recce team consisted of Mike Sandle team director and Andrew Love COVID director.
T20I will mark the return of international cricket to the Eden Gardens, which hosted the Day / Night Test between India in November 2019, before the pandemic occurred.
The state government has allowed a capacity of 70 per cent for the first match, which means around 40,000 fans come to the stadium to watch the competition.
Eden will also host the West Indies on February 12 next year for the third and final game of the ODI series.
