Moving to Central: Tesla has set up another V3 Supercharger station, this time in western Singapore.

At the end of last week, some Tesla were set up to test The Star Vistan Superchargers, and over the weekend, Tesla owners also loaded the cars.

Star Vista 1 is located on the Vista Exchange Green in the Bouna Vista area. It is close to Holland Village and Bukit Timah area.

It is stated that superchargers are available 24/7, up to 250 kW.

Tesla has accelerated growth in Singapore

Tesla has been moving fast to establish Superchargers and build its presence in Singapore since it entered the country last year, indicating a strong interest in dominating the local market with its electric vehicles.

On January 15, 2021, Tesla opened its first dedicated retail store Southeast Asia in sunny Singapore on Millenia Walk. Customers can also take car driving tests.

A check on Tesla’s website shows that another Supercharger is located on Katong V, 30 East Coast Road. There are now four Supercharger stations in the country: Orchard Central, Millenia Walk, Katong V and Star Vista.

Singapore shows interest in Tesla

Tesla was the best-selling electric vehicle to enter the local market in Singapore in July 2021 in two months, according to LTA statistics from September last year. In the same period, it ranked sixth in the best-selling car brand in the country.

EVs interest The Singapore government is planning an internal combustion engine (ICE) car for 2040.

The Tesla V3 Supercharger, which is exclusive to Tesla owners, is said to reduce the charging time on EVs by 15 minutes, compared to regular chargers, which typically take several hours to fully charge.
