(Reuters) – Authorities are negotiating with a man who was abducted in a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, on services that were being broadcast live on Saturday, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The Colleyville Police Department posted on Twitter (NYSE) on Saturday that SWAT operations were being conducted on the Congregation Beth Israel Israel block and said all nearby residents were being evacuated.

No one was injured inside the building, according to a report in the Dallas Morning News.

“Colleyville Police Sgt. Dara Nelson said the suspect is suspected of contacting someone inside the synagogue,” Dallas Morning News reported.

The man could be heard doing a one-on-one conversation that sounded like a phone call in a live replay of the Shabbat service in the Jewish Reformation synagogue. Live streaming was interrupted around 3 pm EST (2000 GMT).

The Beth Israel congregation was formed in 1999.

Colleyville is a neighborhood in Dallas-Fort Worth.
