For girls, I’m in a quarrel! When I was pregnant for the first time, Alex and I loved the names Penelope, Sophie and Beatrice. A few years later when I was pregnant, our girls ’main names were Jane, Margot and Sabine. Nowadays (I’m not pregnant, I dream!), We like Louise and Claire. Funny how name preferences can change.
It’s also a sweet story: my cousin and his wife named the baby Graham after his wife’s grandmother, who is very close to him and always called Gram. Isn’t that a beautiful way to pay homage to him?
