Investing in return on intent (ROI) brings a new approach to financial planning. In this section, Adam Torres and Eric Dunavant, CFP®, CEO of Paradiem, looked at investing in ROI and how it is helping individuals succeed.
About Eric Dunavanti
Growing up, Eric’s family faced an unexpected tragedy that occurred when the family lost their business and wealth. This loss fueled Eric’s passion for empowering families and businesses to live a better story with greater intent. It was at this time that Eric discovered that money does not cause problems; it magnifies and reveals the smallest issues we ignore today.
Since 2007, Mr. Dunavant has led Paradiem’s leadership to lead many families and businesses to create Deliberate Transformation, recognizing the Greatness, Growth, Governance, and Generosity that can affect today, tomorrow, and eternity. Paradiem’s experience is that most families do not realize that the search for ROI (return on investment) does not match their actual ROI (return on intention) and often leads to unintended consequences. Most good tax and estate plans feed into poor family outcomes.
To empower families and businesses to live a better story and align their ROI (return of intent) over the past 10 years, Paradiem has provided families with 800 million to eliminate or avoid taxes, and increase charitable subsidies by 1.5 billion without affecting their lives. or the inheritance they want for their family.
Eric is a graduate of A&M University in Texas, where he graduated in business. Mr. Dunavant lives in Covington, Louisiana, with his wife Angel and their three children, Clayton, Austen and Gracy. Eric and Angel’s desire is to deliberately spread the transformation through a life lived generously.
