Pakistani batsman Mohammad Rizwan and England’s Tammy Beaumont were named ICC T20 cricketers of the year on Sunday.
Rizwan ran 1,326 runs in 29 games in the shortest format of the game, averaging 73.66 and a strike rate of 134.89.

In addition to his feat of batting, he was strong behind the motions and played a key role in competing for the 2021 T20 World Cup final in Pakistan. Rizwan had the third biggest race of the tournament.
Rizwan also scored the first T20I of his career against South Africa earlier in the year in Lahore. In the last T20 sessions of 2021, he scored 87 against the West Indies in Karachin.
Beaumont was also the one who won the most races of the year in the T20Is.
