How did you get started?

A friend introduced Scott to the stock market a few weeks before he was admitted to law school. Although he intended to become a lawyer, he says he was bitten by the mistakes of the market, and spent as much time researching the market at law school as his courses. He never practiced law, but says law schools taught him to think. Today, he wants to give people the skills to take their trade to the next level and understand what it takes to win in today’s complex market environment.

Swing trading, short and medium term trends

Roger Scott describes swing trading as an activity that takes advantage of short-term price changes in stocks that last from three days to three weeks. Each trading asset is subject to two types of trends: long-term and short-term. “In swing trading, we are making a short-term trend, position traders or investors would take advantage of the long-term trend,” he says.

Market volatility and momentum

“The problem with day trading is that there’s not enough time to develop your profits because you only give yourself six and a half hours of trading. So your accuracy has to be astronomical,” Scott said. “So in my personal experience, day trading isn’t the best way to use your time. I think positions that last from a few days to a few weeks work well with opportunities, and they fit in well with that time frame.”

Stock options and ETFs

Stock options have grown in popularity, Scott says, as ETFs (exchange traded funds) have fairly replaced current and futures stocks. They bridge the gap between commodities and stocks. Daily traders are also trading stock options; These ETF options are incorporating currency, for sale, cryptocurrency and so on.

He noted that stock options are now wider and stronger, not only because of liquidity and what people can do with them, but also because of the assets that can be traded with them, such as taking a mutual fund and trading it as a stock. As a result, the ETF says it is replacing traditional commodities and futures.

WealthPress.com

Scott believes WealthPress.com is one of the fastest growing financial publishers in its history because it provides people with accurate, useful, and avoidable information that people can ask for in their daily business. That’s why he says he launched the site: he wants to communicate the truth about what drives the market.

WealthPress has several programs for many clients in all walks of life. Some programs are for customers who have more money to trade, while others are aimed at customers who have less.

“We have a number of flexible programs for all types of merchants, whether you’re new or 30 years old,” says Scott. “I think there’s no better way for anyone who wants to dive into the future of commerce than to start with WealthPress right now.”
