Wimbledon is returning to normal. Organizers announced on Sunday 100 per cent of the fans will be admitted to London in the Center Court and No. 1 court in the semi-finals and finals of the tournament.

The grass-court Grand Slam was being held with a 50 percent capacity before the announcement began. After a good reception from the fans without any health issues, the organizers decided to go ahead and increase the number of people who will be allowed to enter.

It is a monumental moment for England, as it will be the first sporting event to have a large crowd since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain.

The Center Court has a capacity of 14,979 and the Court No. 1 has 12,345 persons. Other events on the site will depend on the number of courts in play. From the semi-finals onwards, the matches will be played individually on the Centre’s court, which will be full of fans.

Wimbledon runs from June 28 to July 11. They are in the quarter-finals, both for men and women. Check out the full Wimbledon schedule here.
