Santa Claus also loves how to make a hot chocolate board – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

‘It’s the best time of the year! When it comes to the holiday season, my usual minimalist trends take a back seat to every holiday. Being with my closest friends and family means that I go to celebrate my time with them, and for me, that always means gathering around food. In between fast week night dinners with family friends and holiday get-togethers, I’m always looking for fun new ways to add a special element to a time spent with loved ones. And this time of year, adding a nice holiday atmosphere with a hot chocolate board is very special.

There are so many holiday cookies and sweets at this time of year, so when I think about taking dessert, I’m hardly interested. I know, it’s a curse for me to admit that, too, because my sweetness is almost unparalleled. That doesn’t mean I’m going to skip dessert, but it does mean that I want to open up my options for a sweet evening. A cup of hot chocolate feels delicious and sweet without being overcooked. A very hot cocoa is the perfect night hat that satisfies the chocolate smile in the most comfortable way, especially when you can’t look at another one. Christmas cookie. It’s even better when you make hot chocolate yourself!

Here’s my formula for the holiday hot chocolate board:

  1. Hot Cocoa Blend (see recipe below!)
Although you may be ready to put the cocoa on the fire, it’s fun to keep a large cocoa pot or bowl on or near the board with a bowl of milk / hot water. Then people can serve their mugs with fresh and hot hot chocolate.
  2. Marshmallows
There are so many options for marshmallows today. From vegan options to chocolate-covered as well as flavored versions, the options are endless. And now is the time to take all the favorites! I have chosen different sizes and shapes for this table, in addition to adding visual interest, to decorate the cocoa cups as desired for people. Filled to the brim with classic mini mauve, to my friends who prefer a single large cocoa marshmallow, everyone will be happy to mix the options.
  3. Sauces
Having sauces and whipped cream as an ingredient on the board surpasses your cocoa. Sprinkle the chocolate sauce on the bottom of the bowls for an extra dose of chocolate, or toss the edge of the bowl with the salted caramel to get something of a wonderful country.
  4. Mint and candy canes
Not everyone agrees that mint and chocolate go hand in hand. I’m firmly in the pepper-mint chocolate camp and welcome everyone to join me. Hanging a candy cane on the side of your cup makes you feel like a special choice, they also work as a drink blender.
  5. Cookies and chocolates
These are more for filling. As much as I love it
a cookie and candy board for this time of year, keep it to a minimum here. They should function as a secondary option for cocoa. Think of chocolate-covered tiles, which act as a drink blender and can be put into a cocoa bowl for a double dose of chocolate.

Enjoy with a hot cup of cocoa, and make sure you save it for Santa this holiday!
