Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the, and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE :), which rose 5.61% or 0.68 points to trade at 12.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising & Public Relations (SE 🙂 added 5.37% or 1.95 points to end at 38.25 and Bawan (SE 🙂 was up 3.23% or 1.15 points to 36.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE :), which fell 2.84% or 0.56 points to trade at 19.16 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (SE 🙂 declined 2.17% or 0.65 points to end at 29.25 and Al Rajhi REIT (SE 🙂 was down 2.03% or 0.24 points to 11.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 99 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.09% or 0.08 to $ 89.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.19% or 0.17 to hit $ 90.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.50 to trade at $ 1827.40 a troy ounce.
EUR / SAR was up 0.18% to 4.2899, while USD / SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 95,450.
