TOKYO (Reuters) – Sony (NYSE 🙂 The group is likely to add new technology partners to help create a mobility business in the electric vehicle (EV) project to transform cars from transportation machines to recreational areas, a Sony executive told Reuters.

“We see EVs as greater than the challenge posed by the risk of being overlooked,” Izumi Kawanishi, Sony’s CEO, who will manage the new mobility business, said in an interview.
