Southgate are ready for a contract interview after England close out the World Cup standings

England coach Gareth Southgate has said he is now in a position to discuss a contract extension with the Football Association (FA) after securing his 2022 World Cup qualifier and does not anticipate any complications.

Southgate’s current deal is due to expire next year and the British media said his new contract in Germany would last until 2024 euros, which will also double his salary.
