Sweden, Switzerland have scored full points in the World Cup qualifiers

Sweden was above Spain in first place in Group B, beating Greece 2-0, and Switzerland were tied on points with Italy in Group C, beating Lithuania 4-0.

In Tirana, the match between Albania and Poland was stopped for good when the Polish players left the field, the Albanian fans threw water bottles at them. The incident happened after the Polish players scored in the 77th minute and eventually won 1-0.

A Polish officer on the bench called on the players to leave the pitch immediately. Before the match resumed, 20 minutes later, a stadium announcement warned fans that Albania would have to lose if they threw more objects.

The victories of Sweden and Switzerland put an exciting end to their sets. Sweden are two points behind Spain, with two games to go. One of them is a meeting between Spanish countries.

Italy, the European champions, are ahead of Switzerland with the goal difference ahead of the team match in Rome on November 12th.

The Italians travel to Northern Ireland for the final round, and Switzerland are fulfilling their program at home to Bulgaria.

In Group D, Teemu Pukki became the Finnish top scorer with two goals in a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan. The Norwich striker scored 33 goals, one more than Jari Litmanen.

Finland is in third place, one point behind Ukraine, who drew 1-1 with Bosnia-Herzegovina, and four behind France.
