Former NBA All-Star Deron Williams will compete in the underlying lineup of Jake Paul and Tommy Fury

Three-time NBA star Deron Williams is ready to enter the boxing ring. Then a report tik NBA Journalist Shams Charania, industry sources confirmed to CBS Sports that Williams has been signed to compete in the undercard for the December 18 Showtime pay show hosted by Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury. This source has also confirmed this NFL Star Frank Gore is expected to be Williams ’opponent.

Williams was the third overall pick for the 2005 Utah Jazz NBA draft. He played for the Jazz team until 2011, when he moved to the New Jersey Nets before finishing his career with the Dallas Mavericks and Cleveland Cavaliers. In his career, Williams was a three-time All-Star, was twice named to the All-NBA second team and also played for the USA team at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, winning two gold medals in the process.

Williams Fortis is also involved in MMA in Dallas, Texas, where he trains regularly. He will have coach Sayif Saud in the fighting corner.

Gore is the third all-time runner in the NFL with 16,000 yards of career. He also holds the record for most games played by a defender. A five-time Pro Bowl pick, Gore was also named to the NFL General Decade team for the 2010s. After playing for the San Francisco 49ers from 2005 to 2014, Gore bounced from the Indianapolis Colts to the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets before finishing as a free agent this season.

Williams, 37, played six-foot-three and weighed about 200 pounds. The 38-year-old Gore, who is a little heavier, plays a large part of his career at around 215 pounds, but is much shorter at nine feet.
