U.S. President Joe Biden wants to get vaccinated against COVID-19 because 70% of Americans have a “summer of freedom”.

U.S. President Joe Biden has announced a month-long effort to achieve that goal 70 percent Americans on Independence Day on July 4.

“America is heading for a summer that is tremendously different from last summer,” Biden said.

“A summer of freedom, a summer of joy, a summer of encounters and celebrations – the American summer that this country deserves after the long, long, dark winter we have all endured.”

While nearly 52% of the U.S. population is already fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. president has asked adults under 40 to be vaccinated.

More than 59,000 people have died as a result of the U.S. coronavirus, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

In order to encourage more people to get vaccinated during June, vaccine sites such as pharmacies offer owners for long hours to provide childcare services to parents. Uber and Lyft it would provide free rides for appointments.

“It’s easier than ever to get vaccinated,” he said, adding that the government will work with hairdressers and barbers to reach out to communities of color as well.

“Local barbers, stylists – become the main advocates for vaccines in their communities, provide information to clients, book appointments for them, and even use their businesses as a vaccination site,” Biden said.

Biden said COVID-19 cases, as well as coronavirus-related hospitalizations and deaths, have been significantly reduced thanks to the vaccine effort. He added that twelve U.S. states have already reached a 70 percent milestone, and several more are expected to reach that week.

The US has issued an emergency permission for three vaccines – Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson single blows – and Americans Over 12 years old they also have the right to receive vaccines.

Biden took office in January with a pledge to do more to end the COVID-19 pandemic than Donald Trump, who was criticized for underestimating the threat of the disease and not being old enough to have it.

Biden also said Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris, husband Doug Emhoff and first lady Jill Biden would travel to the country for a “national vaccination tour.”

“We need people from all over the country to finish,” he said. “I promise we can do this.”
