The beginning of smart local mobility RushOwl announced today (January 11) that it has launched a new subscription-based travel sharing feature.

PickMe! This feature, which is part of the RushTrail app, allows users to create a group to share trips or to share other destinations for the same trip “S $ 7 per trip”.

The price of each trip using PickMe! The feature will depend on the frequency of the weekly trip and the number of people on board. Higher frequency trips and more passengers will be cheaper on board.

“Everyone who downloads the RushTrail app can use our PickMe! Feature, whether they go to work, go to school, or parents who drop off their children at school before they go to work themselves,” said Koh Man Ting, RushOwl’s chief marketing officer.

In a press release, RushOwl said the new features will provide passengers with “guaranteed seats, timely pick-up minimization of travel time” and “fixed prices on all subscriptions”.

They also added that passengers could overcome price increases during peak hours and a shortage of driver supplies, all while reducing the carbon footprint through the new feature.

Users can create their own travel sharing group – called “travel parties” – and change their privacy settings. They can also classify the walk into categories for work, school, and women.

Although there are no Covid-19 restrictions as PickMe! it’s similar to a public ride, where passengers can choose ‘Private Rides’ and share the trip with people they know, RushOwl said.

When the tour party reaches the minimum number of passengers required, the host can start the tour. Hosts for each tour can also set a preferred location to arrive at a specific time.

In addition, users can also join existing routes to reduce the cost per user per trip and launch the routes they want faster. They can easily search for rides by the desired category and frequency.
