First: candied garlic. Two words that will change your life. It’s a game that changes the game, you can always get pizzas, sandwiches, toast and mixes in salad dressings, and it couldn’t be easier. You add a few peeled garlic cloves to a shallow baking dish, cover with olive oil and then add some salt and fresh herbs. Bake low and slow until the garlic is soft and caramelized sweet. Done!

This garlicky olive oil goes on top of your pizza dough, forming a “sauce” along with some sweet and smooth garlic cloves. There are no tomatoes in this pizza, and I promise you won’t miss it.

The rest of the accessories are about simplicity. You add a bunch of fresh spinach on top of your garlic, and it’s cooked in the oven (trust me: use more than you should!) Then mix the fresh ricotta with the whole milk and the fresh mozzarella. a delicious creamery that melts on top of everything.

Garnish with some fresh basil leaves, another drizzle of olive oil (why not?) And crushed red pepper flakes. That little heat is great on this pizza. The result is grassy, ​​garlicky and spicy and is much more than the sum of its parts.

From this moment on, I am literally smiling when I see these pictures again, let alone describe the experience of eating this pizza.
