Not particularly, no. He has enjoyed the conditions. It has hit its length very well. You know that the opportunity will not scare you and that New Zealand will need that experience and ability under pressure to win this.
And how good has Jimmy Neesham been?
It’s been great. Talent has never been questioned. New Zealand need Neesham to end the match. He still has a lot to gain in that department but he is taking all the steps. T20 is the toughest role in cricket these days. Finish the games and hold the nerves. Jimmy has made great strides with this.
Finally, if there was a match you could choose that could decide the final, what would it be and why?
Santner / Ish Sodhi vs Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell can go up. You get a lot of Aussie midfield with a blitz score if you get rid of Maxwell. Getting your field right is one key, the other is that Maxwell hopes to take silly chances, and he’s done that many times in IPL. But his ability to win his match has never been questioned.
