U-19 WC warm-up: Harnoor cracks while India beats Australia

Harnoor Singh’s 100-game unbeaten streak helped India beat Australia by nine wickets in a warm-up game ahead of the Under-19 World Cup in Georgetown, Guyana.

Australia ran 268 runs in 49.2 points, and 18-year-old Captain Connolly made 117 runs, a 18-point hit.

Hanooork led the Indian charge and Shaik Rasheed assisted well as he scored the 72nd goal. Harnoor and Rasheed retired injured, but captain Yash Dull (not 50) walked away with 15 balls left over at the finish line on Tuesday.

The tournament itself will start on Friday and India will open its campaign against South Africa on Saturday.

In other matches, Bangladesh, England and Pakistan also scored spectacular victories.
