Tropical storm warning is in effect in some parts of Cuba and Jamaica, as well as in areas of the U.S. state of Florida.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy and a 75-year-old woman were killed in various incidents in the Dominican Republic on Saturday after walls fell on them, the Emergency Operations Center reported.
Barbados was also among the hardest hit areas, with more than 1,100 people reportedly affected homes, including 62 homes that completely collapsed as the government promised to find and fund temporary housing to prevent people from gathering in shelters during the pandemic.
Haiti was also hit by fallen trees, especially vulnerable to floods and landslides as well as widespread erosion and deforestation. The storm affected the country’s agricultural sector, according to an initial assessment.

On Sunday at 14:00 (18:00 GMT), the center of the storm was about 65 km southeast of Cabo Cruz in Cuba and to the northwest.
Elsa is expected to bring 20 cm (8 inches) of rain to Jamaica, in some areas it will be between 38 cm (15 inches), while Cuba can see storm floods of about 1.5 meters (5 feet) in some areas.
